how housing prices have risen sharply from
2001 to 2021 in the Village, with a more than
doubling in price in this time period Figure 7.
This is further explained by recent data from
BC Assessment, showing how prices have
risen in different housing types (see Figure 8
and Figure 9). Average sales prices for singlefamily dwellings (SFD) have risen more sharply
since 2012 than prices for a Duplex, Triplex
or Fourplex. For condos, townhouses and
Manufactured Homes, average sales prices
climbed the most for townhouses followed by
condos. (see Figure 9).
